Realistically, what are the chances of me getting my calipers replaced by Mitsu?

Anyone got a pic? Is it just paint issue? Does this also happen to the STi?
Yeah I just named a few, there are many many others (lexus, Nissan, Lamborghini the list goes on).... I have a bunch of friends with STi's, none of their calipers are peeling. This is why I am certain it is just a Mits. issue, and of course they know about it....they've warranted ALOT of calipers..... we'll see if they went back to brembo's normal paint spec on the X to decrease the claims.....

I actually remembered to let you guys know how it went.

Called Mitsu up, told them that my front calipers are starting to fade/peel, she told me to come in. When I got there, she had already talked to the warranty manager or whatever and he approved to replace both front calipers (even though only 1 is really showing some wear).

Waiting for them to arrive next week and have them put on

If you guys do re-clear them, don't use the engine stuff. Use the VHT clear caliper paint. Handles 900 degree temps.

Only way you can find out is go in yourself.

Each dealership handles warranty claims different.

Mine peeled a few years back, as well as my spoiler, they replaced the spoiler, but not the Brembos.

At the same time I decided to put stainless brake lines on it, so I removed all the calipers, carefully sanded and peeled the old clear off, prepped, and put 3 coats of the VHT clear on. It looked great for about a year, and then they started to peel again.

If I decided to do it again I would probably have them powdered.
