Realistically, what are the chances of me getting my calipers replaced by Mitsu?
Hey guys,
Both front and rear driver's side calipers are starting look awful. My car is a 2004 and is modded and past warranty. Shouldn't Mitsubishi still replace them since both of my passenger side calipers look great and thats an indication that something is wrong. Anybody got their calipers replaced after warranty? Thanks

just repaint them its not hard at all. Buy a caliper brake paint kit from autozone and go to town like i did. 19.99+tax. comes with everything you need buy the decals online or paint around the brembo like i did. i have a paint guide on my website if you need instuction btw mine is a 03 i might have warranty i dont know i really dont care dealership botches jobs anyways

I'll be trying in the next week or two to get my calipers warrantied. I bought an 04 from original owner a month ago. Original purchase was 9/10/04. I'm under 50k, with 46,xxx right now.

I'm going in next week to try and have them warranty mine on my 06.
Only one is starting to fade/peel right now.
I'll try to remember to post back to let you know how it went.
If all else fails, I'll just repaint them myself. Now whether to paint them brembo red again, or black?

thanks for everybody's input. I know i can always paint/powdercoat. Painting would be easier since I could keep the caliper on the car but powdercoating would probably look better and last longer. On a positive note, I can choose to paint them black like someone else said, which is nice.
