Car wont Start..
Hey guys,
I just finished installing the Evo IX turbo. I put everything back together and refilled the oil / coolant, and triple checked everything to make sure she was connected back up properly. When i try and start the car, it begins to start then stops. The only thing i can think of is this piece which broke during the install but appears to be still wired on (black wire connector on corner of block). What is this part? Something else i am missing? Maybe too much coolant or something? Any ideas?
Thanks

there's no such thing as too much coolant, too little maybe but not too much. Of course you can overfill the overflow bottle but it just runs out on the ground, won't cause no start

which corner? Is it on the block or on the head? upper lower? Could be cam sensor which would cause no start, should throw a code, is there a check engine light?

I replaced the sensor and she came back to life!! I took her for a spin around the block and things look good. One followup question, I spilled some oil into my downpipe and it's smoking pretty bad. I checked everything for leaks just to be safe and it's good. Should I just burn the oil out by driving? Will that hurt anything?
