AEM Tru Boost Users Please Chime in!!!! Please post your setup with settings!
Hi Guys-
I am really having a difficult time dialing this boost controller in.. It seems like it is NOT consistent what so ever.. I have a 35r stroked setup with obviously an external waste gate (20psi spring in the tial 44mm).. Right now I have the Spring pressure (SPR or GAE aka crack pressure) at 11.0 and the duty cycle of the boost at 40.. So A40 is displayed and I'm positive that it is not on the OFF position..
Please post up your Boost Pressure (A_ or B _ ) and your Spring pressure spr or crack pressure gae value and your current setup.. Also if you having a consistent reading of boost (along what kind of taper and spike you have).. I am really getting frustrated.. Please help me guys...

Wish I could help you man, but ran into this same kind of problem.
My brother bought the TruBoost for his TT Supra and asking for help on several forums got pretty much zero replies. Either people don't know how to use them (maybe from not owning them) or the users just don't care to help.
We tried messing around with it for a little while, but ultimately said screw it and left it at the stock boost settings. That was in a Supra though so it doesn't really apply here. Plus we were fortunate enough for the car to get broken into and the TruBoost was one of the things stolen. So I'm thinking we're gonna go with a different EBC this time.
Good luck in your search buddy.

There are more threads on here but heres one example. I'm still on the stock wastegate myself so my settings might not help you. I printed out a bunch of threads when i installed mine, see if i can dig em up.
Do you have the tru boost manual?

I have this in my Evo X.
I had to make some adjustments because of the increased boost in cooler temperatures. Still on stock turbo but with the upgraded forge wastegate actuator, my spring pressure is at 14 psi. My boost "A" duty cycle is set at 55, and my "B" duty cycle is set at 40. My boost cut is set at 28 psi. My current boost setting is at 24 psi.

i'm tuned efficiently at 27lbs on a stock metal 9 DV on my ecu. my "A" setting is set to 68% and it hits 27 and tappers to 26 consistently. I don't know the spring pressure of the metal DV. I never change to the "B" setting, though I set it to 80%. I'm also on a stock acutator on a BBK. Your TruBoost should flash "A" or "B" when you turn your car on. As your driving you can also hold down the first button for 2 seconds to see what setting your on, and hold down the second button for 2 seconds to see what your highest lb of boost was during the time you started your car. The highest boost will reset once you start the car over again. It's a good way to see if your car is running consistently.
Boost Setting A - A68
Boost Setting B - B80
Display Units - PSI
Scramble Boost (SCb) - 10.0
Scramble Boost Time (SCr) - 0.0
Alarm (Ala) - 30.5
Spring Pressure (Spr) - 3.0
Bar Graph Full Scale (Ful) - 30.0
