Strange. I wonder if they will get slammed for making coments like that.

Vote for the Evo.

My Top 10 "Sportscars"... the ones I'd want to own:

Enzo
Murcielago
SL-55 AMG
Corvette Z06
Elise
Supra MkIV
Skyline R32 or R34 (I'd take either)
the upcoming MY05 NSX redesign
Evo8 with the JDM 6spd and AYC/ACD.
360 Spyder with custom twin-turbo kit

The Evo 7 and 6 are in an entire different class of Sports Car, not without MAJOR reconfigurations will the Evo 8 ever been mentioned in the same breath. The design isn't classic, or timeless or cutting edge, it's butt-ugly from grill to altezza's. Sorry but it's the truth, when they designed the Evo 8 the designer was on crack

Dude why are you even on this site since you hunger for an SRT go to there boards and stop bashing a car you know nothing about by driving or owning any of the cars you mention above.

How is the clutch weak? How does paint affect the performance of a sports car except for weight (in that case, we perform better because ours is so thin)? And what is so Super about Super-AYC?

Come on, like traction control makes a car so much more fun to drive? The mechanical linkage is what makes the car so damn fun. Oh well, I guess the grass IS always greener on the other side for some people....

Oh, I see what's going on here.

1.) I didn't read to catch the guy's mistake.

2.) The guy made a mistake and didn't properly quote, therefore I thought it was what he said instead of a quote.

3.) I should have read page 2 again to catch it.

Super -AYC is not traction control.

So it senses a change in the yaw axis of the car, which essentially means that traction is lost somewhere (and creates wheel spin or wheel slippage) and then it limits the amount of power transferred to that wheel while working with the brake system to modulate the wheels that have the best grip....

Yeah, that doesn't sound like a traction control device at all.

Why don't you call a limited slip differential a "non-traction control" device while you are at it.

Sorry, I should have said "electronic traction control" in the first post.

To each his own, though.

er??? dude, learn your **** before spraying it around.

you are in fact confusing Mitsu with SUBARU AND PUEGEOT.
Subaru won 3 WRC championships in a row in the 90's. Puegeot has won 3 in a row recently, and 2 in a row in the 80's... for a total of 5. Mitsubishi has won one title. in 1998.

crap like that bums me out.

yes, lets see if they can "touch that milestone"

Top 10 "Sports Cars" of post WWII?! I don't agree. Maybe the Evo is one of the best "Sports Sedans" or "Bang for theBucks" of all time.
