I have the Crower 272's and I have the tick as well. Has been there since the day they were put in. (never been worse than day one) If yours are getting louder there is something wrong! After all you have done, I would personally replace the cams with another reputable brand and see what happens. My .02cents Rick

It seems like no matter what you do some people will get ticking after cams and some dont. I have had cams for 2-3 years with ticking noise and its been fine. Not really a big issue that I can see.

Best solution is to take it in to a local shop you trust to have it checked. I did cam upgrade and it did tick pretty loud at first but after it settle, it drives fine and tick went away. GL

Yeah, a video with sound would definitely help. I just got the HKS 272s installed and there is a little tick, but nothing serious at all... The idle is great and the exhaust sounds badass. Is the car idling right? Have you ever had problems with knock at high RPMs as well?

If its ticking noise dependent on your RPMs, it might be your belt tensioner. (At least I think thats what its called, its the thing that holds your belt taut to the engine.)

I had that problem when I was idle to 2.5k RPM where it would tick, and after 2.5k RPM the ticking would stop.

Are you running an ECM or just the stock ECU? How does the car feel at high RPMs is it smooth?
