If you're asking about the US-bound Evo it's anyone's guess.

Otherwise, all iterations of the Evos (including the hard core RS) have HID as an option.

Yes, thank you I was asking if the Euro ver had them. I know all facts about the US Evo, which is next to nothing.

Well Euro-spec and JDM WRXs have HIDs (as options) and US-spec gets this ugly looking halogen. My guess is that it'll probably be optional, with standard being the same 3- eye projector lights with halogen bulbs. HID-less means 1k less, which is good. I personally don't really care about HIDs, blue bulbs work just fine. It's the fog lights that makes the difference (my current car's HIDs are bright, but cars with halogen bulbs AND foglights are brighter and wider.)

I think Japanese car manufacturers in general like to screw over the US.

Look at what you guys are missing:
- All versions of the Evo
- All versions of the STi
- All versions of the Skyline
- The twin-turbo "Lexus GS"
- Twin-turbo 4WD VR4
- I'm sure there're others that I've missed

do you mean 2003 models? I've heard that 2003 models get the JDM projector housing minus HIDs too, but are the 2003s here already?

BTW 2.5 RS is nice. My friend has one and it's like WRX minus turbo that's it oh and fogs and scoop but still. My bro got WRX. You on i-club?

Don't have to be imported. They had alot of those at dealers. I see alot of VR-4s on the streets. But they didn't sell well. I saw many 99s in 2001, new ones not sold.

The '03s aren't out in the us yet. Everywhere else the non hid projectors are standard, hope it's the same for us here too.

Yup on the i-club under the same user name...I have this user name everywhere, hehe

All VR-4s are twin turbos. N/A ones are called "3000GT base model and SL"
