Premium w/NO ethanol???
Ok, there is this one gas company in my town that decide to go with Premium gas with no I mean NO Ethanol in them and is listed as Recreational Vehicle uses. Is this s**t good for our motor? I know there are still 3 gas stations that will carry true 91 Octane gas that has 10% Ethanol.

is it 93 octane or 91?
The further west you get away from milwaukee, the higher the chance there is to find 93 with no ethanol added.
People tend to see better gas mileage with straight 93 vs "e10".
Stick to what you are tuned for... if you are untuned, try it out and see how the car feels.

the ethanol actually lets you be a little more aggressive with the tune, when it first came out tuners really didn't think the e 10 was better but after time they saw constant better results with it.

The more oxygen, the better, in terms of performance. It's a slight reduction in mileage but the gains are more than just octane... it burns cooler and raises efficiency.
For those of you who always rag on oxygenated pump gas and claim you'd rather have straight 91/93 rather than an ethanol-boosted 91/93, just look no further than VP's C16 and Q16
C16 is straight gasoline with a motor octane of 117.
Q16 is oxygenated with a motor octane of 116, and yet it makes 3-5% more power than C16... you have to consider more than just octane.
Or E-85 for that matter...
E-85 is only 105 octane and yet people make similar, if not MORE, power on E-85 than they do on 110/116 gasoline.

Hmm no. Why would you want ethanol in it? I stopped going to a station that switched to 10% ethanol for 91 in it since I felt like I was getting screwed:
Did some quick research. Pure ethanol is 115 octane, so:
.1 * 115 (ethanol part) + .9 * x (normal gas part) = 91
.9 * x = 79.5
x ~= 88.3
Which means they just took gas barley above 87, put in cheaper ethanol and somehow got to a price that's about 15-20% higher than 87. See a scam anywhere?
I don't see a reason to run anything but e85 with a car that's turned for it. It the 91 gas was cheaper, then maybe, since your gas mileage will go down since it doesn't contain as much energy and you have to burn more to get going. Sort of a lose/lose situation for price/value if you ask me.
