What did the owner say it was? Looks like a fancy alarm/bluetooth? Ask the previous owner or try to get ahold of them.

Perhaps an emergency call button to the white house. Have you tried playing around with it? Safest way would be to ask the previous owner, and if that wasn't installed by him, try to trace the person down and ask.

did you try activating your bluetooth on your phone with the car on and then pushing the button?

after looking at billionsssss of pictures on google image, the button belongs to mitsu installed gps alarm from a company called guidepoint which they sell along side with lo jack.

i think this is bluetooth but im not sure. for what its worth my girls mazda6 has the same button in just about the same place. the light is obnoxiously bright haha

its for blue tooth..it wires into your speekers..not stock..im guessing they just left it in there because they didnt want to take it out
