Perhaps an emergency call button to the white house. Have you tried playing around with it? Safest way would be to ask the previous owner, and if that wasn't installed by him, try to trace the person down and ask.

after looking at billionsssss of pictures on google image, the button belongs to mitsu installed gps alarm from a company called guidepoint which they sell along side with lo jack.

i think this is bluetooth but im not sure. for what its worth my girls mazda6 has the same button in just about the same place. the light is obnoxiously bright haha

.......There are alot of buttons available & certainly may be for some other wireless phone device.........The former EVO owner was quite the sophisticated type, now wasn't he???........Peace
