I just got my car and noticed this stuck right next to the steering wheel. any ideas what it is? If it matters, the led flashes blue.

I'm guessing Bluetooth. <nevermind, I noticed this is in the 1-9 forum> I'm not sure if that is stock. If it is, I can't believe they left the wiring exposed.

What stereo setup do you have? It could have been an add-on to an aftermarket stereo that wasn't worth stripping out (removing dash panels and whatnot).

really weird, it's not stock for sure. Maybe lojack or something, if so thats good that you have it, but bad because you dont know how to use it... only way to tell for sure is to look under the dash and see where all the wires run. also, when does the blue led light up, during any specific event?

You should follow the wire harness to the brain. Then you can find the brand name or whatever it is. Look next to your fuse box or behind that panel.

definitely not lojack. The idea behind lojack is to stay hidden in case your car is stolen.

darn, not as easy as i thought it was going to be. the wire wraps around and goes to the other side of the dash. i guess thats a good thing.
