mystery coolant hose???

I was under my car today and noticed a hose that was facing down to the ground, not connected to anything. i get up and see its the coolant hose from the passenger side of the coolant bottle. I looked around and cannot figure out where its supposed to be connected to, or if its always been like that?? Very wierd

heres some pics of it, its not facing down here cuz i pulled it up to snap some shots of it. it was facing down next to the power steering bottle

this couldnt possibly give me the cel light i just got yesterday can it??? (P0401)

Thats just your overflow hose for your overflow tank, its supposed to be facing towards the ground. As for the po401, I think that is an emission code. Check on the under the back side of your intake manifold for a vacuum line that came off your emission control valve. Very common.

That's the overflow hose from the overflow tank, it is connected on one side only like it should, it should be pointed to the ground vertical not horizontal.
Something else gave you a cell.

Its your cross drilled brake lines vent.

Turn it down towards the ground and leave it there. It will help your engine to run the same.
