Need help with a decision on my cars clutch...
Ok so...I have a 2006 ww Evo IX and it has 37xxx miles on it.
My problem is that my clutch is slipping like a ****...like bad, I'm almost scared to drive it sometimes for fear that its just gonna let go one day and i'm just gonna be in neutral for ever. lol
Anyways, Mitsu quoted me @ $4xx.xx for the clutch and $9xx.xx for labor!
That's $1,300 for 1 part, not too happy about that.
My car is stock except for TBE and an intake system...so theres no power strain on the stock clutch when its healthy. Should I take that $1,300 and use it @ the Mitsu place and have them put OEM stuff back on, OR should I go with an after market set up?
The only problem is that I'm not sure of very many places, if any, that have done a clutch job on an evo or on any other AWD car.
Thanks for the input.
