mitsubuishi factory accessories
My dealer is offering to get me a blue EVO from Florida (>300 miles away) for $200 over invoice. However, I have to pay $543 for factor sunroof shield/performance pedals/custom color shift knob/upgraded guage trim - I do not know what these look like, and am not real hot on paying for them. However, I would like opionions on if these items are worth while, and if anyone has a link where I could see them (can't find on mitsubishi.com).
Thanks
Thanks

Where's Parma?
Can anyone comment on how good these items are and if they are just a bit overpriced or are they way overpriced for theyre quality?
Thanks for link above - the shift knob and pedals are ok, but I think I like the stock better - the EVO "stands out from the crowd" well enough as is.
Oh yes for $543 I also get a trunk net

The pedals, shift knob are both good quality and nice but overpriced. You can buy aftermarket pedals and knobs that are just as good (If not better) for less money. The instrument cluster surround is a total waste of money. Not to mention, if they don't install it right, it will creak and obscure you view of the gauges. The wind deflector is good if you like to cruise with the sunroof open. It cuts down on the wind noise quite a bit. However, it really sticks out and destroys the streamlined look that a stock EVO has.

I was forced to buy all that crap too. I sold the peddles and knob on this site for a nominal amount but I still have the blue gague bezel. It looked cheap installed and then it came loose and started rattling like crazy. Looks much better without it.

He's dealer is asking $200 over INVOICE (not to be confused with MSRP). Also just tell the dealers that since you don't want the accessories, you're not going to pay for them, I'm sure they'll agree to throw them in for free eventually.
