I posted P0172 error issue last month and I think I found the cause

I just wanted to post up incase anyone ever has this issue. Originally I thought it was the fact that I was running E85 allthe time. Most searches on this forum will show that alot oftimes it may be a bad O2 sensor.

My issue has been a stock IC pipe slowly working loose (From a tightened TBolt clamp). I threw the code again the other day and I noticed that the turbo sounded a little louder then normal.....it was loose on the throttle body on the bottom so I couldn't see it and it was still on but barely, it must've been slowly sliding off..

So if you ever throw that code just make sure all you piping is tight.....even if it looks like it is.

you spray hairspray on the piping/couplers and give it a minute to get tacky then clamp everything up

it works well
