Pic of underbody of an evo8/9

Does anyone have a picture of their car taken from the underside, im building some alluminum paneling and need to draw out the design for it.

Wouldn't it just be easier to go for the Beatrush aluminum under panel? Sorry, I mean I hope you make it and it all works out, but after all that aggravation of drilling the holes to specs and making it liveable so you can actually service the car (i.e. get to the tranny/tcase, oil, etc...) I would just go with something that is tried and true. Like I said, I hope it works out and you can make one, but its just something to consider... If you still don't have a picture at the end of the day PM me and ill jack mine up and take one for you, the underpanel is off until the Beatrush one goes on later this week. I will put my panel on and take a pic before I do it for you. Again, good luck with it.

oh yea i appreciate the info, but i was going to do the hole thing, nose to tail- i love the beatrush, since Redline is allowing it for street class i was going to take advantage, i have to get the beatrush then do the rest i will/ deff keeping it in the back of my head.

Alright, so you need a pic of the entire underbody? or just up front? Wish you would have asked a week earlier, I had her all on jacks to put the new suspension on when it came in... Perfect time...

i was looking for the whole body as if the car was on a lift and you took a pic from the intercooler to the tip of the exhaust canister

How is a picture going to help you design and fab one up? You still need to make a ton of measurements and what not. PM Jid2Binary, he made one before.

I doubt if pictures would be good enough to make your sketch, you need a car to take measurements from first. What kind of software are you using?

There is a thread, I believe by a user called "binary01" (or something similar), where he used aluminum and made the underbody super smooth and very aerodynamic.

Search around, you'll find it.

Interesting concept... Why not make it out of CF? It would be easier to form I bet, plus a whole lot lighter.

You would have to have a mold to make it out of CF. The cost would be ridiculous.
