Vacuum hoses disconnected / Ghetto rigged

Vacuum hoses disconnected / Ghetto rigged
In late August I had purchased a 03' Evo 8 with 25,824 miles. It came with a JGT Turbo back exhaust and a EBC, which the previous owner removed.
Turns out that the guy who previously owned my car had taken out the EBC and ghetto rigged the vacuum line for the waste gate with zip ties and one wasn't even connected!! I had one major vacuum leak from a smoke test and the vacuum line for the intake wasn't even connected.
After the car was properly fixed I couldn't believe how much power I had lost and had been driving around with for two months!!! I just can't believe how dumb I am for not have this looked at earlier
For now on I'm going to be checking my evo everyday!
