Tranny fluid change and beatrush underpanel.

I just got the beatrush underpanel and am installing this weekend. The transmission fluid and tcase fluid is not due yet and am planning on changing it in a couple of months. Before I install the underpanel , does anyone know wether or not the underpanel needs to be removed to change the tranny fluid and tcase fluid?

Can't you eyeball it? This is a good question and I wouldn't mind knowing myself.

I don't have the Beatrush myself but figure I will eventually get one.

The only thing I've seen is pictures of the panel installed in a car but not at the correct angle to tell.

Yes, if you want to have any kind of room to do the fluid you will need to remove the underpanel (takes maybe 10 mins.)

Thought you had it to eyeball it. Just line it up to see how far back it will sit. It sounds like someone else clarified though.

I could eyeball it before I put it in but I just wanted to get as much info as I could before I started.

It covers everything. You need to remove it to do any kind of fluids, including engine oil. It goes as far back as the first tie bar.

^^ indeed ^^

you will want to remove it to do the trans fluid. u might be able to do the transfer case fluid with just the rear portion removed....

i always remove my beatrush panel all the way when doing the trans and t-case. i remove only the rear portion for oil changes!

its only a couple minutes for me with my electric gun. those allen heads zip right out!

Just take the couple of extra minutes and remove it. It'd be a good time to install some Dzus fasteners too from http://kurveygirl.com/ That'll make removing the undertray a cinch next time.

You do not need to remove the panel for the tranny fluid change, you just have to goet a lil creative.

Oil changes you have to remove the rear portion of it. I try avoiding removing the front piece if at all if possible.

I had no undertray for a while and when I looked under the car today the louvers on the fender liners were destroyed and im missing the panel that connects to the undertray on one side. I'll have to put of the install off a bit longer until all the other parts come in.
