Protect your Evo's...

This beautiful Evo IX SE came in today on a tow truck. Someone broke into this gentlemen's car and stole his ECU and his radio. It could have been worse and the Recaros could have went too. Try to keep your cars safe guys.

Just out of curiosity, why do people break the back window?
Im guessing so they dont have to sit on broken glass?

Must have been an aftermarket ECU. It could have been so much worse. He's lucky the seats are still there.

I'm getting an alarm in the near future for sure.

Whoever did that needs to be put in a work camp until he earns enough to pay back the owner. How much of a rejected life form do you have to be to think that it's ok to help yourself to someone else's hard earned stuff? I think security systems need to dispense with the irritating noise and just release a gas that knocks the thief out. We can all help them with a foot up the butt after that I had my Integra broken into for a four year old deck. What were they going to do with that? grind it and snort it? Idiots left all of their tools, stuff from other thefts, fingerprints, and a crack pipe in my car.....and the cops still didn't do anything. To add insult to injury, they stole my leatherman, but left a gerber (which the cop took) and they gouged up my car prying my emblems off which the cops took as evidence. I tried three times to get the emblems back and never got them back...not sure who ripped me off there..

Won't help very much if someone breaks into your car and strips the whole thing though...

I think alarms should be aloud to disable people, like shoot out your legs or fire ***** or something more violent then "I'm making noise!! Look at me!!" alarms. I think everyone now a days hears an alarm and thinks what an idiot disarm your car before getting in and don't even pay attention like the purpose they were made for.

I hate reading stuff like this. Sorry to those who have had their cars broken into and stuff stolen. My truck was robbed twice in less than a month. The last time I was in Cancun trying to enjoy my summer vacation with my wife.

What goes around comes around? Hopefully

Wow thats a clean looking car. I guess it could have been worse! I don't get people these days. I don't understand how people can justify stealing things...

I agree with you there. That's why my Evo is either locked in the garage or right by my window with my 9mm under my bed
