^ prolly cheapest and easiest to try other than pulling it. Did it ever shift good, ie - has it just started shifting poorly? I'm just curious - I know mine will probably go out some day, I just hope it's not on the dyno lol.

i think its the sychro that causes the problem, mine is a 5 speed, and the problem usually occurs when the car is not warmed up.

look into replacing your underhood shifter bushings with a solid replacement

I have buschur's and they work great

THANK YOU, took the words right out of my mouth. I'm tempted to say that almost everytime that guy makes a post.

OP, try the Blox front anti-roll mount. I used to have the same problem but after switching to that, the problem is gone. Also, if you're using a GL-5 fluid, drain it out for a GL-4. I use Royal Purple Syncromax.

Definitely try a stiff front motor mount (the BLOX front engine roll stopper is what I have and recommend) and some underhood and base shifter bushings (I recommend the Speed Source ones since they're self-lubricating brass). I'd also switch your 6-speed back to the OEM DiaQueen fluid or that Castrol stuff Mil.Spec sells.
