Im going to take my car to the shop tomorrow hopefully and have that bumper done, as in the crack fixed and it repainted and the works. Im also waiting on a lip. I got one of those VIS or whatever ones off ebay, so hopefully it should get here in the next couple of days and I will have the bumper done and get that installed

Then, it goes back on the market to sell. I wanna build the whole drivetrain in my MR, and this darn evo is holding me back lol.

How can noone want it for 17000? Thats insane.

And turns out some of you were right, it was NOT STOLEN but backed into and ripped off or something and probably thrown who knows where..

I never noticed until today when I went to inspect it before I left it at the shop, that my intercooler side was smashed in and then pulled out by something to make it look not damaged. I also havent shifted over 3k for the last few days. So I took it out and hit a little harder and right at 4500K the boost just drops and engine slows.

I need a new intercooler.


Now Im pissed off and not laughing at this. F@#$EN douche bags hit my car, took my bumper, and ran off.
Hell with the bumper but the intercoolers are EXPENSIVE

time to call insurance

 

report it to your insurance company as a hit and run. then request for them to give you a check after you get your estimate. a IX bumper is $812, the lip is $232, the stock intercooler is over $800. they will also pay you for time cost to paint, paint supplies, etc etc etc. you could probably get somewhere id say around $4200 (i know this from experience....twice with two diff evo's, yes i have bad luck). then you could get the AMS/ETS intercooler for less than $700 and then have all that money left over for the bumper/painting, etc etc. good luck man!
