i would start with some of the basics like wideband, fuel pump etc. then work your way to cams and already have the car set for when you put them in

well all im saying is with them same mods i made about 330 whp on CBRD's dyno tuned by chad

like i said before, you obviously havent seen much. it all depends on the driver. so to sit here and blame it on the clutch is stupid. ive seen stock clutches last months at that kind of power

Charlie (kreionic) made approx 440 whp on our low MD, on the stock clutch into 3X,000 miles....

no launches, but I know he drove on the stock clutch for some time that way...

I must be above average then...been modded for a month and my stock clutch is still running strong. BTW, the car has 44k miles and a few track days thrown in there.

I'd say its largely torque and driver dependent as for the lifespan of the stock clutch

A friend of mine just made 512whp on stock 30k mile clutch, and it drives fine. It's all on how you drive the car (i.e. aggressive launching).

For the OP, I would, depending on how far you plan to take the car, skip the S1's, as they are a mild upgrade. If you ever want to run a BT and make 500+ you'd be better off with S2's or Kelford 272 or 280's.

For reference, I think the new S2's are 274/278 on their cams.

I would go with the s2's, just got them and they are 274 in 274 ex.

+1 on the Wideband. Pretty essential when you start modding heavily.

Better check your cam card! GSC just revised these cams for about the 3rd time. There always improving them, if I remember the specs are 278 intake, 274 exhaust and 11.2 lift on the intake and 11.0 on the exhaust. There big boy cams!
