Rear conversion you need Evo RS 5-9 rear diff, axles, front and rear diff brackets.USDM evo 8/9 models are same non AYC diff.

Other stuff, arms,hubs,subrame fit EVO 5/6 GSR/RS

I'm working on a similar project car but using a 2 doors mirage instead of the 4 door sedan. Rear sub frame are exactly the same as I compared it with my evo 8.
The only difference is with the rear upper arm that needs to be modified in order to fit.

Oh was not aware of this. Ill try to find a complete Evo V or at least VI front suspension then.

I knew of the AYC, but didn't know that it used an external pump. I'll look into an Evo 8 or 9 rear then. Probably a lot easier to find in a junk yard anyway.

BTW Radiokiov that would be awesome if you could take some pics for me, would be a huge help!

Tiffsevo, do you know the ebay guy's name?

Well i might have a problem that could put an end to the project. NY inspection is computerized, and an obd II evo ecu will show a VIN that wont match the registration.

Can the evo ecu be flashed to read a mirage VIN?

UPDATE: Contacted NY DMV (a while ago) and they told me as long as the new engine is OBDII compliant it will pass inspection.

I also just picked up a Silver four door '98 Mirage at auction for $1040. Looks really clean, almost no rust, plus its got black interior which will make the conversion (a little) easier.

The project is on!

That looks like a pretty clean conversion

However, I'm trying to build a VI TME, I'm not looking to buy one already done.

Well guys, I'm VERY close to finalizing the import of an Evo VI GSR for parts, a RS quick ratio rack, FULL tommi makinen interior, and a tommi mak turbo.

Bye bye life savings...
