I would go putting wood ( if you rent your place) or concrete (if you own it) on the street so the angle of inclination won't be that steep.

Come out on more of a angle and go in with your can on like a 35degree angle...

Ive seen people make forms and fill the gutter area in with concrete. Might have to to check with your City first they might consider it an issue with drainage.

+1... Take it from new yorker. My driveway is on a angle and its fairly steep. A 35degree angle will do the trick.

Or, just spend 25 bucks, buy cement, and make it less steep. Not that hard.

All great ideas!! As I mentioned I live in an area where we have strict HOA's and the concrete, permanent mats etc. just wouldn't do for me. As it is now I am almost driving over my lawn to get the right angle not to scrape. Oh the joys of a performance vehicle! The frustration quickly disappears with a juicy stab to the happy pedal though.

Sure......I'll wait til it's ground down and lookin like a GSR lip first. J.K. There is another thread here showing a cheap ebay jdm style lip for way cheap. Guess I could keep grindin them down and replacing them at that cost. Take a look if you haven't already.
