Gradually losing my SE lip! Help

My driveway has such a steep angle that I scrape entering and leaving unless I take the driveway at a serious angle. Like the title says I have an SE lip AND stock IX GSR suspension. My question is ......Does anyone have any ideas for how to avoid further damage when and if I go to springs or coilovers? Of course I can't lower and raise coils each and every time I leave or come home. New lip maybe. Guess I should have pulled into the driveway before I bought my new house. Am I just S.O.L.?Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.

i think they have driveway mats made out of heavy duty rubber that lower the steepness

Is it a steep angle from the begining of your driveway to the road? You can try wooden boards everytime you enter/exit your driveway.

At the beginning of the driveway where it meets the sidewalk. Putting boards or mats out would be a pain but maybe thats the cost of being lowered.

If you own the driveway you could possibly fill in the low area with concrete or blacktop.

I like the heavy rubber mat idea.

I guess I have to do what I have to do. Thought somebody might have some ingenious idea that would alleviate getting in and out of the car putting mats or boards out every single time. I'm thinking jackhammer and new concrete now.

Is the standard lip that much shorter than the SE lip? Taller wheel/tire combo? Wish there was a suspension mod like the one thats on one of the Ferrari's that will raise and lower the front suspension slightly for situations like this.

How about putting some rough gravel there to fill it in a little? Then no mats or plywood to move and you won't have drainage issues.

^^Wouldn't be a bad idea but I have an HOA here and I'm sure somebody would take exception to gravel in my driveway. Had I been in a more rural area that may not be a bad way to go.

I had the same problem here in PHX, with the HOA's. I scrape no matter what angle I come in at.

i have same problem, kinda sucks. For now, in the winter time, there is plenty of snow and ice to make the problem go away. If I can come up with any creative/cool ideas I'll post here too.

18s would help. You MIGHT be able to get away with a mild drop on 18s.

I have a steep driveway that meets the sidewalk and when I was on my stock suspension and stock front lip, I would scrape if I didn't go up or down it with a wide angle.

I'm lowered on swift springs now on 18" rims with a carbon fiber lip and now I have to take an even more extreme angle to it.

My best suggestion to you is to approach the driveway going up or down it at the widest angle you can.
