From my experience, I think I felt more difference due to the front LSD than the ACD. Did they add the LSD in 05 or 06 models? Can't remember anymore.

If the 05's had the LSD and ACD, then then only significant difference left over would be the MIVEC.

Right on! I'm sitting at 24k miles rite now and am averaging 10k miles per year. I figure at this rate I can keep my Evo for 10 years an still have only 100k miles it. Long Live the 9!!!!

Bought a 2000 Civic last year so I could stop driving the Evo IX. 29k miles and she was bought August 10, 2006. Manufactured June 06, sticker says so. Going on 4 years now...gotta make a cake for her birthday...hahahahaha

That's the reason I picked up a '98 M3.

My IX is definitely a keeper

I bought mines brand new June 1st, 2007. It was a left over and one of the last new Evo 9's for sale, so that helps contribute to my low mileage

I would say the 2004 RS would be the best "raw Evo" it has a front LSD, no ABS, no ACD, etc, etc....non of that MIVEC, just raw motor and drivetrain.
