Euro spec rear fog wiring?

I just bought a rear foglight off another member, and I was wondering how or where you would wire it up to? Its the one that sits right next to the plate not the one inside the taillight

pm evolento and ask him to post here...I know he has one not sure if it is functional or just for looks

you would have to wire it to turn on with your parking lights and/or fogs

Rear fog light like the back bumper?

I'm thinking wiring it into the reverse lights would prove to be the most functional

Reverse light wiring is directly in the trunk so it shouldn't be too much a stretch to get a wire tapped into it. Probably will have to look at making the fuse a little bigger though or run a relay harness to power it off the battery.

in europe they actually use them...they are light up like your tail lights with your head lights on...however they have operational fogs without their actually headlights being on if I remember correctly

hence the function of a rear fog so motorists behind you can easily see you

Buy a red LED reverse bulb, splice into the reverse light harness and run the switch to the fog light switch up front or a different switch altogether. Pretty much the only way to do it and its the way I did it.

The fog light in the bumper always looked kinda tacky to me.

I'm working on getting a fog light for my JDM rear once I get it painted.

Since the rear fog light doesn't come with a harness, I was going to fabricate something up, Probably by soldering on the wires to the bulb or going to radio shack to find something that would work.

I plan on testing the fog light wires switch from inside the cabin and finding a power source and then running new wires from the switch to the rear fog light.
