That's sick man! looks awesome for that many miles. I have just under 94K now and I'm like eeekkk... but mechanically my car is flawless, just would like to get my front bumper fit...hit a tractor trailer tire on the parkway...it's not hideous but bothers me...good stuff go for 300K haha

after reading the original post again, I'm like the total opposite of this guy. I want to hit 200,000 miles at the racetrack. I've driven my car hard every chance I've had. plenty of launching (sometimes for no reason other than the joy of launching), autocrossing, racing, etc. I'm creeping up on 150k in my 06 IX MR, and I plan to blow past that mark at 100mph+ I want to see if these cars can make it to 200k+ without being babied. So far I know it can easily make it to 148k and still look damn good being beaten on every day.

193,778 miles / ~230 miles to tank = 842.5 tanks of gas
842.5 tanks of gas * 14 gallons in the tank = 11,795 gallons of gas
11,795 gallons of gas * ~$3.00 per gallon = $35,385 total gas cost
That makes me want to cry.

OP: Congrats on the millage!

Just an update, almost lost it in the snow. 4 snow tire are no match for 32 inches of snow(really 4-6) on the road. A SUV almost ran into me and I got it a little sideways.

All i could think about was, damn i'm so close!!

Anyway, catastrophy averted. Still going strong except for yesterday with a State of Emergency due to snow.

Update mileage: 198,680 as of tonight

I am glad everything is ok, next time drive very slow when there is deep snow, 32inch is way too much. I am waiting for the 200k moment! everytime when I see this thread makes me want to drive my car more and more. I am a firm believer that any car should be driven often to keep it healthy along with necessary maintance. Except the this week, the road are nasty outside, I am running summer tires and my car is very clean don't want it to get dirty so quickly yet.

I think the surprising thing here is, most Evo drivers really put their cars through hell (poor mods, 'spirited' driving, lack of maintenance), and many break parts due to driver abuse.

So kudos to you for taking care of it!

exactly right, poor mods, driver abuse and poorly Tuned are the number one reason why some's evo won't last.

That's awesome man! I'm at 98K right now with the thing parked haha. So I'm nearly to 100K and I thought that was high!

You are honestly the first Evo I have personally heard of at/near 200K! Congratulations. Looks better than mine!
