BOV: Synchronic vs OEM IX

Can't decide between the two. I have a stock VIII MR and I'm hoarding parts during the winter. Overall I'm looking for the best functionality but would like a little interior BOV noise.... which one!?

If you want the BOV noise, just get a open-element intake. The stocker is perfect already.

Oem ix bov is good up to 26 psi and maintains great driveability. Just pop it in and go. No adjustments needed.
The synchronic holds higher boost but i keep hearing it can be a pain to set up correctly.

Just get a IX bov. There is a used one for sale in the FS thread area.
Don't waste your money on your first mod being a bov.

My OEM 9 valve didnt appear like it was leaking until it was swapped out for a Synapse BOV....

I literally picked up 30 whp before 3,300rpm from a previous tune just with the BOV swap... The boost plot was ridiculous looking from the significant boost gain compared to the OEM 9 valve...

The only bad thing is that you wont get the full rice effect with this valve... sorry...

Quoted for truth. I hated my synchronic. I bought it, installed it, removed it, and sold it all in the same day.

In it's defense, it held boost great. I just couldn't get it set up right.
