from mechanical to electrical boost gauge
My autometer boost gauge stopped working so I got the Prosport electric boost gauge to replace it. The autometer is installed in a single gauge pod over the steering wheel. I did not install it myself, but the gauge light only comes on when you turn on the lights, and it only has a white and black wire going to the bulb, as well as the tubing directly into the gauge. How would I go about replacing the autometer with the Prosport since the new one is electric, and where are you guys putting the boost sender?

The following is from their website in the FAQ:
" Black –Ground
Red - 12v ign. power-meaning power when the ignition is on.
White- 12v ign. power
Orange-Headlight switch.
Green - Sender
The above/below wiring will result in white during the day and color (amber or Green) at night. "
Where is the easiest place to find and splice these wires?

ok, well I went to install the gauge last night and realized that the tube that was run to the boost gauge was much smaller that the tube supplied with the gauge which needs to connect to the electric boost sender. I was hoping to just use the tube that was there before so I didnt have to run the tube again through the firewall. Is there an adapter I could use to go from a smaller tube to a bigger one?
