Unluckiest Day with evo
So today was the unluckiest day I have had with my Evo so far. I was pulling into a space with a very small curb that stuck out more because a tree was planted in front of it. I did not see the curb and was pulling in very slowly trying to get even with the cars around me and all of the sudden I hear it! "CRUNCH!" I immediately slam on the breaks and proceed to back up a little hoping the horror I thought was going to come true wouldn't.
I stepped out of the car to find that I had literally split my carbon fiber lip, in half. I was pissed and was on my lunch break and tried to drive 3 blocks back to school and within a block I hear another crunch and feel a thud and see my lip trailing in the road behind me.
When I get back home later, I go to take the bumper off so I could take the other part of the lip off. I decided to tighten the banjo bolt that connects the oil line from the turbo to the head, because it has been leaking a little oil since I swapped my turbo a couple weeks ago. I hadn't even gotten a full revolution on turning the bolt and I hear it. "SNAP!" The bolt just broke in two with one side threaded into the head. I then turned on the car to move the wheels so I could finish taking my bumper off and I only had it on for about 2 seconds and then I come around and see that oil had sprayed all over the engine bay from the bolt.
Now I have to call a tow truck to take the car into the shop tomorrow.
What is your worst day you have had with your evo?

Damn, bummer bro, its just not your day. Hey look on the bright side, you are blessed to drive a performance sports car. There's peope out there having the same day with a bucket of a car, so you're already ahead of the game
I have had a few days lilke this in my time, all together, the good days of full boost, crisp shifts and no worries far out weigh these ones for sure
Good Luck...

You're damn lucky you came away from a 90 mph collision with nothing more than bumper damage! Rather than tripping out you should be counting your lucky stars and learning from your mistakes.
