Throttle sticking!!

Lately I've had this stupid problem with my throttle sticking around the resting area. So it's holding the throttle open and leaving the engine around 2500rpms. It's almost as if the spring is too weak. Any know any possible solutions. This is making the car extremely annoying, specially in the snow. I have to kick the throttle to make it idle back down to where to needs to be.

Take upper pipe off, where throttle body is, and inspect it , maybe its dirty inside, clean it.

I've cleaned it a few times. And yes, the spring has been lubed. Throttle body was cleaned when I removed the intake.

Mine also being an 03 8 has had this same problem. Mine also rev's up 400-500rpms after pushing the clutch in to shift. This are all very common problems. I know many suggest using an aftermarket throttle body.

Check your throttle cable location. Some people had problems with their throttle cable binding when tucking it away. If its in stock location than it cant be the problem.

I've worked with the throttle spring a bit, and when you turn it by hand, it definitely does seem to get a rough around the closed area. If you dun come from like 1/4 throttle and snap it closed, it get stuck. Maybe I will have to take it off and look into cleaning it again. Almost feels like vacuum is holding it open, if that even makes sense.

And the cable is in the stock location, I checked that first. Throttle gets stuck even without the cable on.
