How well do you treat your evo?

Hey guys, just as the title says, how well do you treat your evo? Do you park miles away from the store to avoid the cart dings, or do you park like a rockstar right next to the door. Does anyone do any thing crazy over-protective with their car? (kiss it goodnight? haha) etc. etc. I wanna know so when I get my evo I'll have some other users tips/tricks.

Thanks
Eli

I dont care if I have to park a mile away and walk thru 10 degree weather, I always keep the car faaar from idiots. I park far away from trees where branches can fall on it, I dont park under electrical lines where birds could sit and drop bombs on it, I stay away from shopping carts that can dent it. Most people are lazy, so parking far away from the rest of the crowd is always best to avoid scratches or dents from careless parkers.

People think Im nuts, but then they wonder why my car is always spotless and how theirs got a random ding or a scratch thru the paint.

I always park far away from other cars. Change the oil religiously. Let the car idle 5 minutes after driving before shutting it off. Treat it good it's an EVO!!

2nd that too on the idling. Usually for 30 seconds to a minute, maybe 2min if I was racing. Before starting it, I always let the fuel pump get goin for a few seconds too before cranking it.

When It was nice outside I would give her a bath atleast once a week if not more. Fallowed by Detailing the interior and sumtimes cleaning up the engine bay a bit.

As far as fluid levels go, I make sure to change them on the regular. You cant treat you evo like crap, or it will do the same to you..

Park away from all the idiots at school and when i go anywhere else. but theres always one who decides to park right next to you! it never fails lol

i work like 3 blocks from home, and i never take my car to work. rather walk even if it rains! haha
just for the simple fact that some people dont know how to open their doors when they park next to you and ding the hell out of ur car.

man, u guys are missing out. I treat her amazing, however, if i see a huge mud puddle im definatley rompin thru it. If i get on a freeway onramp i make sure im pulling 1G around the corner, if i see a nice mountain uphill dirt road, im makin' it up it. If its raining, i go play. As long as u keep up the maintnance you can have fun for years.
