I refuse to put holes in my bumper, i guess im just lucky *knock on wood* never pulled for that. Ive seen people with them in the windshield and one guy went as far as to attatch it to the sun visor backside and leave it down so its always in sight. I have the mounting thing and plate in my back seat for the case i ever do get pulled i have an alibi lol.

Or any of the JDM style swinging stays will work.

^^But the beatrush one seems like it wouldn't block the FMIC.

I took 2 pieces of some pretty strong aluminum strips that were about an inch wide and about 1/8th of an inch thick and bent them 90* and put some holes underneath the left edge of my bumper and bolted them on. If I were to take it off now, no one would ever know that there are holes there. I don't really have a good picture of how I did it, but this give a general idea how it looks.

that is still illegal in some states. I did that and was still pulled over because technically it was not on the body of the car. That is what the cop told me.I wish i could tell him to suck it but than i would be showcased in one of those police beating a person videos.

I tried the velcro backing, but after around a week my plate fell off.

If I were to put a front plate on my car I'd get the Beatrush bracket.

I'll keep this in mind, dont want anyone to find this stuff on me for sure

Here in VA, they require the plate up front, never ran one (they look kooky), never will. Even with the two tickets I have gotten

Has anyone ever had this happen before? Or is this just an expression for a shake down?

Are you saying that they are allowing cops to make a detemrination in the field that a car is illegaly modified?

I've heard of stories where the cops hand out tickets for the wing claiming it obstructs the rear view. Upon argument of the wing being "stock" and approved to be sold in the US/State, they still write the ticket and send it to court.

I also heard of a guy that went to court, proved it was stock and still got fined...WTF?
