Boost gauge reads low?

I have a aem boost gauge that reads 4lbs vacuum when the car is not running, does this mean I am 4 lbs off from the boost I am actually running? If so, is there a way to fix this?
Thanks

yes it has already read 4 inches when the car isnt running, which seemed odd to me. I will try to get a hold of AEM, anyone else seen this before? i dont want to think im running 20lbs of boost when its relly 24 lbs.
