When I bought my IX MR it came with it. It is a great exhaust...didn't think you had to do anything to make it fit.

x2. This exhaust should bolt right up without issues. Anyone know anything different?

I have the same system on my 8 with no clearance or fitment issues. HKS provides all the brackets and mounting hardware to avoid issues. I'm not sure of any differences between the 8/9 in terms of exhaust fitment.

Should fit, I would think the 8/9 are the same.

Mine does not rub at all. Not even at the bumper.

THANX GUYS. I also heard that since the evo ix mr has 6spd, extra gear, unlike the 8's and the non-mr's, it will rub to the gear where it connects to the transmission when you reverse. how true is this?

The only thing is you have to make sure they come with the hanger brackets adapters. HKS hangers for some reason need brackets to work on stock hangers. DO a search on this.
I bought mine used at the time and did not know, and the seller did not include them. You will have no way to hook up the hangers on the carbon TI with the stock rubber hangers without these brackets that comes with the exhaust new.

I have a IX MR and it clears everything. I had a o2 bung welded on the catback just after where they cat would be because my downpipe and testpipe does not have one anymore.
