I'd go with the Buschur. My friend has it and you can barely hear it unless he gets on it.

Another vote for COBB... Very quiet at low RPM, no drone, nice simple unit.

I suggest Cobb as well. Good luck finding one, as they don't make them anymore.

I was looking for an quiet, stock looking exhaust in the summer to replace my Espelier jgt500. I looked around and decided to go with the Tanabe Medallion. It's louder than stock but definitely not as loud as 90 percent of the exhausts on the market. I believe Tanabe says that exhaust should be around 93 decibels but it seems a bit louder than that with my mods (no cat + 3" dp)

I have a full 3in TBE (Injen Downpipe, Cat delete and SES Catback) and its really quiet. It looks stock and sings at WOT. Under normal driving it makes the Greddy Evo2 my buddy has sound loud.

Ill just tell you what I had experience with..
TB BR with hight flow cat and magnaflow muffler. It is just almost like stock exhaust, but just a bit deeper.
I hope this helps.

with a ultimate racing high flow cat my perrin exhaust is pretty quiet. probably pretty close to stock during cruising but once i get on it, it becomes a whole different animal and everyone thats said anything about it says that it sounds good. ive heard the buschur magnaflow and didnt really like it and was very raspy and annoying and much louder than the perrin

Tanabe Hyper Medallion is the true winner here, i had it on my car, it sounded the same as stock up to 75% throttle after that its maybe two times louder then stock which is nice when u do WOT

I agree. I have the tanabe medallion touring and it is very tolerable. I did a lot of research, listened to 1000 youtube vids, and read hundreds of threads on the topic. I have the tanabe and a perrin hfc and it's a great tbe (although not 3 in., more like 2.75).

The others that people seem to almost universally agree to be quiet exhausts are the cobb and the fujitsubo RM01A catback.

My experience was similar. The tone was deeper and fuller but not too much louder.

I'm running a 3" downpipe, HFC, and Greddy Evo II. I am probably giving up some horsepower but I am fully legal and almost never attract the wrong type of attention.

Good luck.
