Not really. Insurance companies insure cars, not people. They know what the car is worth, they know his age bracket, his accident/driving history, and his credit ratings. He's in a high risk category. Shopping for insurance isn't going to help. He may save a couple hundred dollars, but not thousands.

You're going to get a lot more help in this forum if you type in full, thought out sentences. If you don't type like a moron, then people have no reason to assume you are one.

I'm currently with State Farm, 100/300 on everything, even uninsured/underinsured coverage. I have 0 deductible comp and 500 collision. Comes out to $620 every 6 months I believe. I was going to switch to Progressive, since my quote back in November was something like $90 a month, but since then every time I've looked at that quote, I've found that they're been "progressively" hiking the rate up and it's now more like $110 a month. I get a big rate cut when I hit 30 in about 13 months, looking forward to it.

i'm from CT also. 27years old, squeaky clean record. I pay about 1000 for the year full coverage.

Look in the phone book or online for a CT insurance agent. They'll look in their database of like 16-20 or however many insurance companies they do business with and will find you the best prices... Most of the time they'll find you something cheaper than you can find online.

Have you tried AllState? I'm 30. I got full coverage on mine. Though I'm at $500 deductible and I'm around $800 for a year.

If you're on Langley, I assume you're military. Look into USAA, your rate will be MUCH lower.

I have State Farm and was considering buying an old Honda and using my evo as a second ride, but they said it wouldnt matter, my name would still go under the car with the higher premium.... Not quite sure if that's accurate or fair. I spoke to one of the ladies at the State Farm agency here in Baltimore.

BTW I pay $248 a mo. 250 deductables...
