bought my car from miami fl, drove all the way back up here to wi....i had it for a few months now, but ever since it has been up it seems it is slower than it was down in miami, idk if im just getting use to it or....idk....maybe the humidity or elevation levels have something to do with it??

are the elevations different?

a higher elevation will definitely decrease the performance

Crappier gas is my guess. Was the car previously tuned? Was 93-octane available in Miami?

Few months is all you need to get used to it...plus the higher elevation means less air density so that's less power but it's probably more because you're used to the power.

Only solution is to mod it

do a boost leak test

change your plugs

try a different gas station

take the negative battery cable off briefly to reset the ecu

the elevation will play a factor but I don't know to what effect

you were running 93 oct that we have down here in FL, up where you at you might be using a lower octane.

you can also be getting usto the power and it feels slower
get some power mods

okay i did take the battery cable off already, i was thinking about throwing some bosch platinum plugs in too, im getting gas from a shell gas station, its the only gas station that has 93 within 30 miles, i would hope shell is honest with their octane rating
