Harness Bar Usability/Clearance?

Another factor of a harness is that if you do get an accident it can possibly hurt you. For example getting t-bone. But i've had mine for almost 2 years. I try to avoid carrying people in the back but i drive careful.

You think their arms would be strong enough to keep their face far enough away from the rollbar in a 55+ mph head on collision?
I definitely don't. I installed my harness bar because I was already in a very severe wreck (I took out a telephone pole), and do NOT like having to clean the backseat of my car.

55+ head on collision...if all they have is shelled out teeth then I'd say they got off easy.
I've always thought about getting a harness bar.....I had no idea it was that dangerous for rear seat passengers.
