occasionally when i put the gas pedal to the floor, my car falls flat on its face. its almost like the injectors quit. but this is only once in a while when i nail it. it normally runs perfect when i'm driving normal (low or no boost) any ideas??

plug gap, leak, gas etc, etc...

Do you have a boost gauge to see whether you are making any boost?

 

yea most of the time the car runs great. it peaks at like 24 lbs. and tapers to 22 at wot. but like i said i dont know how else to explain it just sometimes, its like the fuel just decides to shut off and the car just falls flat on its face (no power) not just boost like the rpms go down of r a split second then it usually kicks back in. its like the car just turns off for a second then fires back up but its really annoying and frusrating at wot becaues its jerky.

Yup, post mods x2. But I say its something to do with the fuel delivery, injectors, pump etc.

 

Could be fuel cut. List your mods and when was the last time you had it tuned? Any mods put on since that tune?

 

sounds like no lift to shift, but I'm sure you'd know if you had that....

 

In general..... this type of habbit happens with faulty EGR valves... just a suggestion.
