Wideband o2 question

I'm extending the wideband o2 sensor adapter harness so i can place it inside the car and not outside so it doesn't hit the heatshield surrounding the exhaust piping.

I have a question.. I cut the adapter and the wire is SILVER, i only have COPPER speaker wire to extend it with, will this effect the readout signal of the wideband by using copper with silver or should it be ok?

Buy a silver wire. The copper wire is fine but it will corrode because its not the same metal. The reading is going to be fine because there is only 3.4 difference between copper and silver. I hope this help. Make sure you solder it too.

well you cant solder stainless steel unless you have a open flame, my iron gets hot but not hot enough to compete with open flame.

I put on radioshack #64-033 wire connectors and i was going to heat shrink tubing over the connectors.
