Hi, my name is Bobby and I have been searching for a low mileage Evo ix none MR because I hear the trans are weaker.

I have been on this site serveral time and it seems that all of you are very nice and know a whole lot about evo's "obviously". I would like to join the Evo world, just need the car.

I have found one that I would like to buy. I found it on AutoTrader.

Now from what I can tell it is a ix none MR like it is posted. But if I am correct the ix all came with the black tailights, also notice it isn't a stock exhaust and the obvious carbon fiber trunk. Now what gets me is why is the price so low and what may have happened to it for it to be so cheap? Not that i would mind the price being cheap if it's legit.

Here is where the is needed. I live 2 1/2 hours away from this car and I have gone far a couple of times trying to buy one of these cars just to be fooled by pictures. I want to know how the car drives and if possible know what is done to it besides what I mentioned. I have tried to e-mail this dealer and no response. So I was thinking if it's not a waste of your guys time (guys in NY) to help me and check this car out and let me know what's up with it I would greatly appreciate it. Feel free to call me whatever you want for asking to check it out. I really would love to own an Evo.

ive called on that one and i have gone down and looked at it already the guy is nice and ligit with the price but he fails to tell you it has a salvage title when i was there i got the vin and took some more pictures and i ran the vin in carfax and it came up major title issue it was hit in the rear and it was considered salvage that is why there is a cf trunk and evo 8 taillights. gl man its all fixed all you gotta do is get it inspected to get a rebuilt title.

Wow that was fast for all those responses! haha yeah I am glad that I didn't have to waste my time just to find that out. I really appreciate the help. I would never buy a car that was in an accident anyway. I knew their was something fishy about the price. I was trying to look at the car fax but I had to Subscribe (waste) when I could just ask around. Thanks guys! My search will just have to continue. If anything pops up in my area that you guys know of that looks like a good buy let me know! Looking for low mileage, (30,000 and below) don't care if the car was modded if it was taken care of! Looking for either an 8 or a 9 that aren't an MR.

I know this car.. A bodyshop is selling it, it's clearly been involved in something because it's a EVO9 with 8 tails, SE seats, it's got parts from all over the place.
