Do yourself a huge favor. Relocate the stock battery to the trunk and spend the $ on something else. You can relocate the battery to the trunk for less than 100 bucks. All you need is a battery tray. You can use the stock tie down and J bolts, pick up the wiring below with breakers and you're set.

if you run the car every day I can't see you having any trouble. I can leave my car for about a week before there is a chance it won't start.

got a mini battery in the trunk

I had one for two years

started every time even if I let the car sit for 4-5 days at a time...however it didn't turn over very easily

I ended up putting a full sized battery in the trunk

well worth it in my opinion

Why are you relocating the battery? Why not keep it in the engine bay? You can run a stock route piping kit and the stock battery will stay. The only problem I see is if you relocate the battery to the trunk.. depending on the track.. You may need to install a cut off switch on the outside of your car or they will not let you run. I would double check with your track first. If you do this, make sure you get a removable switch so people don't tamper with your car in the parking lot. Hate that..

Thanks!

Michael

From my own personal experience, mini-battery = bad idea. I've tried the AMS, Odyssey, and now Baker. Lots of headaches and waste of money. Take some good advice, don't do it. For every person that has never had any problems with their mini-battery, there are two others who have had troubles. Don't do it unless you like to gamble on crappy odds.

Been running a mini battery for 6 months without issue. I've parked the car for the winter and start the car up once a week and it starts up just fine.

If you can run a power cable for an amplifier, you can relocate the battery to the trunk. It's simple. It's so nice having the battery in the trunk out of the way. If you ever install a meth injection system, the battery is right there to wire up. Being able to run short route IC piping is nice too. PM me if you have any questions about wiring it up.

i was actually talking to you about this today through emails mike.lol
im relocating the battery because im gonna be running your short route ic pipe. i know you guys make the stock battery pipe, but i like the look of the short route. i was gonna go with the mini battery kit, but i just have heard to many bad things about them. especially in cold weather.
