Damn, that sucks.... Call a Lawyer, they can (some) give you a free meeting or advice. Sounds like you have a pretty good case to me. But I do not know how the law works about this....Good luck!

Im in the same boat

1-transfer case...excesive whine noise -fixed for 1000 miles only

2-tranny....same excesive whine noise -no fix

3-drive shaft....they screwed me on that because they didnt make it a repair order they swapped it out of a new car...no fix
"No legal documentation" by the way it was the service manager at ft.lauderdale mitsubishi if mitsu is reading this

4-its in since last week undergoing possible transfer case swap but they still dont know what to do yet

ive had her for 5 months and shes been in for over a month already it seems like alot of transfer cases are going......maybe a bad bunch .......can u say recall

hopefully i get a new car or this actually resolved finally

call mitsu corp, give them the name of a lawyer and phone number and tell them you are going to pursue a lemon law... My friend did that after his 3rd tranny (reverse never worked) and they bought his Nissan Maxima back..... even after they declaired his flywheel completely blue and discolored...

I have two thoughts: first maybe you need to learn how to drive, (grinding gears) and second your turbo does have a whine when it spools up. j/k sorry about the problems and I've heard it is three times on the lemon law.

i know how to drive fine. AND second of all I HAVE NEVER grinded a gear. This is grinding while driving.

Anyways...I took the car back to the dealer AFTER THE TRANSFER case replacement this morning. The told me that they will not look at my car again until the Area Rep. looks at it. They keep waving the stupid Mitsu Bulletin in my face about the "normal drivetrain noise" and telling me that this is normal. This guy "service manager" at SHELTON CT, Mitsu. has got to be the biggest ******* I have ever met. So what do I do now? Does anyone have the number for my area rep. in CT? PLEASE HELP ME.

Shelton Mitsubishi? I went there and they gave me the tour. I already knew about their bad reputation. I'm glad I didn't buy one of these.

The service advisors have been cool with me, but the service manager thinks he is MR bigshot and that he knows everything about the EVO....when i reality he doesnt know a DAMN thing. He pulled up the bulletin and I told him....."Too late, I have already seen that about a month ago"

Why not try a different dealer. Maybe your guys have no skills. I know it is a pain driving but if it fixes your car right it is worth it.
