Hearing a noise while i press on the gas

when i press on the gas and i start shifting from second gear and up i hear a humming noise that gets louder and louder after each shifts. might be the differential? but i put the right amount of lub, maybe its not pumping it or reaching the diff? but when i put it on snow mode the noise is not as bad as when its on tar mode.

did you just try to pour the lube from the bottle and hardly get any fluid in there or did you do it with the hand pump you can screw on top of the bottle so you can pump the lube in for the correct amount

Try driving in a gear like 4 and when you let go of gas humming stops and then every time you press on gas humming start when you let go it stops. I think you have a transfer case problem.

It sounds like you might have a TC problem, check your fluids and make sure they are good. You might want to double check them all before you make more damage. Most stealerships have the diaqueen in stock.

transfer case going bad. I had the same problem. Whenever I press on the gas pedal it would sound like metal scratching. I had it replaced under warranty.

Depends on what's on the radio... Does the hum you hear, turn into singing when the passenger knows the words?? LOL. Sorry, TC
