Should I take Evo to Germany?

Where are you going in Germany? I was stationed at Spangdahlem from 2004-2006. However I wish I had my evo at the time but I had my srt4 LOL. Anyways if I were you I'd bring it. I only saw 1 evo in 2 years while i was there and that was at the nurburgring. You can take the evo on the nurburgring for only 16 euros, its fun. Also around summer time they convert bitburg's old air strip to a quarter mile track and autox event. But beware if the car breaks you will be royally screwed unless you can fix it yourself. Parts take forever to get over there also.
Oh and the nurburgring is only like 45 mins away from Spangdahlem maybe less if you like to cruise fast. I used to cruise at like 140mph with the srt4 without worrying about being pulled over, its great!

Take advantage of the free shipping to take it over. Install an FP Black turbo though and drive the Nurburgring, then drive over the Pyrenees Mountains down into Spain. Have a blast.

Sometimes i miss it there. Too bad I was only an airman at the time and all i could afford was that srt4. But its nice to be able to drive however you want and not ever worry about getting screwed over by the police out in the rural areas. Ship your car early if you can. It takes like a month and half for it to get over there. Also there is written driving test you have to take, it is pretty hard but I was able to pass it the first time. The hard part was trying to remember all the german signs and what they mean.

Bring the car- When you are there, even if it was sold and paid off, banks are difficult to buy a European car from one of the "dealerships". If you get a car there, it may not be allowed for import to the US, regardless whether you are in the service or not (spent 2 years @ Aviano, and tried to get a 7 series BMW to import- would have cost me too much). While you are there, you will have the opportunity to buy some pretty cool parts to fix it up (FQ parts). You can always buy something off the lemon lot to putz around in, or if you want something different to drive. I'd say buy a M/C while your over there, as you can also ship the bike back with house hold goods!!! (Ducati!!!!!)
