99 bucks is for them to just tinkle with stuff. They are not going to remove the tcase for 99 bucks. At least my dealership didn't. They looked at me like umm that's going to take more than an hour. So in the end, they quoted me 500 to take it apart to see if anything is wrong. If yes, then it would be waived and warranty kicks in.

I figured the 99 was just to look nt to remove anything and if that is the deal with them not worth it. Not going to pay 500 for a maybe. Will just remove mine and have it rebuilt.

They will look into it. You have not modded the powertrain! It'd be one thing if it had a exedy twin or something stuffed in it. I wouldn't even have paid the 99 for a diag, I would say it's warranty fix it!

it all depends on the dealer...but for tcase to be done they have to contact the rep and let him know..i have a mitshu tech in my shop and thats what he said...

Very true all dealers are different so if there are a few different ones in your town then hit them all up.

yes u can change it!!! when i bought my evo the tcase was f**** up!!!!1 and they change it for free!
