The life of a ricer... is serious business. We work hard to put every grain of rice onto your table.

^ lol.

I either get "Whoa, holy S***, that is an awesome evo!" or "Dude, what a gay ricer car". The latter tend to be un-informed and ignorant. So who's opinion do you really care about??

My town is not so big but not small either. Most that are into cars have come to know what an evo is and respect it. Even the V-8 guys. More than a few of them have been sent packing by a daily driven evo aginst a trailored V-8. One thing I have always kept in mind is something my step dad told me when I was getting into cars. "They're is always someone faster than you".

I think I've only been called a "ricer" like once or twice, but thats back in early 05 when the evo was still fresh on U.S. shores lol, now I usually get that, "slow P.O.S." or "Rice Burner" etc. But the important thing is it doesn't matter what they call me or my car, I just kindly ask them to race and if they accept it always ends up with my evo coming out on top and the excuses flying from their end.

I don't understand people's need to talk ****. Maybe they got something to prove who knows, but I always let my car do the talking not me and in the end for some reason it always feels that much better when I beat them and I didn't say a word at all lol

Edit: On a side note, I noticed that its usually the primered hondas that say things like "park the slow p.o.s." or "vtec this and vtec that" it makes me laugh quite a bit, but I give them points for tenacity lol

That is very true. Always. And also (though you can debate it): "How much money you have depends on how fast you go."
