Using an MBC indoors
I know that Hallman makes a remote manual boost controller. I think that it is called the RX. But, is there any real internal difference between this remote unit and the standard, in the engine bay, Hallman MBC's.
As a practical matter, could one just adapt longer hoses to a standard MBC and mount it inside the car? Maybe someone could explain to me why this would be possible, or why not. Thanks.

Yeah, I suspecteded that this might be the case. But, I have never seen the Hallman RX setup myself. So, I would be guessing as to just how they manage locate the controller inside the cabin and at the same time retain performance and functionality. Do they just provide extra length hoses with what is essentially their just standard controller? Or is there something else special about the RX version?

IIRC the in-car MBC's use a mechanical cable that adapts to the top of the standard boost controller that just runs into the car and ends with a knob. Sort of like how old cable-driven speedos worked.
