Ive only got 65k on my car but am changing out similar things. Dash light bulb, Headlight marker light is out, Temp control. Im still on stock clutch as well.

Good to hear I can expect much more out of the car! I think the whole clutch issue with evo's is all in the driver and if it was launched a lot. Im the same way were its only been launched maybe twice and both times were not too aggressive.

Good stuff!

No, it is original. Checked service history at the dealer.

As for the clutch guys, most of this is highway. Clutch is always engaged, thus if not slipping against the flywheel or pressure plate, not wearing.

If I did a lot of stop and go, I would have replaced the clutch by now.

Even if it were changed out prior to his purchase, it's still impressive for any clutch on an AWD car like this to have lasted for that long anyway.

How much more life do you think you have on the stocker anyway?

awesome.

Does it use any oil?

On the clutch debate, like he said, they'll last forever with mostly highway use and not launching. I got over 165k miles on the OE clutch on my AWD talon. When I changed it, it was still holding fine, and there was probably another 30k life left on the disc- more material than I thought would be there. My daily commute was (is) 50-70 miles on that car.

Great to hear. There are a couple Evos in Northern Cali that are also 200k. And people told me to buy a Subaru because the Evo wasn't going to be reliable.

I would say another 10-15K being conservative. But I am really going to put one in when I get the turbo installed.

Cool little log. I did the same thing with my Camaro and Trailblazer and plan on doing it with the Evo as well. I also keep track of all receipts etc. If I can offer a word of advice though, don't do it. It is almost depressing and definitely ridiculous.
